Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and SimplyAuth LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("SimplyAuth," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using SimplyAuth ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
SimplyAuth provides a real-time identity verification tool that allows trusted contacts to confirm each other's identity over a phone call using time-limited, cryptographically random verification phrases. The service is designed to help protect against phone scams and social engineering.
Not a Substitute for Emergency Services
SimplyAuth is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for calling 911 or your local emergency number.
The distress / panic-word feature is designed to alert trusted contacts and is provided on a best-effort basis. Notification delivery depends on third-party services (Apple Push Notifications, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) and is not guaranteed. In any emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) directly.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or deceive others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the verification system
- Create accounts on behalf of others without their consent
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent subscription limits through fraudulent means
