Our roadmap

Where SimplyAuth is today, what's next, and what we're building toward. We'd rather be honest about direction than quiet about intent.

SimplyAuth launched as a peer-to-peer safety app. Our long-term goal is to bring the same trust primitives — identity verification, silent distress, safety check-ins — to organizations: teams, schools, care networks, and anyone else whose members need to know "is this really them?"

Peer-to-peer

Shipped Q2 2026

A trust layer for individuals, families, and small circles.

  • Voice phrase verification — rotating 60-second phrases to confirm the person on the line is really them.
  • Silent distress signal — panic word sends a silent alert to trusted connections, with no indication on your screen.
  • Scheduled check-ins — safety timers that notify your connections if you don't check in on time.
  • Biometric app lock — Face ID / Touch ID to keep the app private on a shared device.
  • Referral rewards — both sides earn free Personal months when a new connection is made.

Polish & reach

In progress Q2–Q3 2026

Making SimplyAuth more reliable, more accessible, and available to more people.

  • Internationalization — French, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. Core trust features shouldn't require English.
  • Reliability and observability — deeper crash reporting and monitoring so issues are found before users feel them.
  • Accessibility improvements — screen reader, dynamic type, and contrast polish across the app.
  • Expanded market reach — broadening availability as local pricing and legal requirements permit.
3

Organizations

Planned Q4 2026 and beyond

Bringing the peer-to-peer trust primitives to teams, schools, and care networks.

  • Business API — programmatic identity verification for customer-support desks, field teams, and internal help-desks.
  • Admin console — org-level user management, audit logs, and policy controls.
  • Single sign-on (SSO) — SAML / OIDC for organizations that already have an identity provider.
  • Compliance program — SOC 2 planned, Data Processing Addendum available on request, sub-processor list published.
  • Security whitepaper — architecture, threat model, and data-handling details for security reviews.
A note on dates. Quarters above are targets, not commitments. We'll update this page as we ship — and we'll be honest when something moves. If you're waiting on a specific feature for a decision you're making, email support@simplyauth.app and we'll tell you where it actually stands.

Building something where trust matters?

If your team, school, or organization could use identity verification as a platform, we'd like to hear about your use case.
